Our move takes place over the next 2 days, so this is my last official work day this week. Beginning on Monday I’ll be working from Kirkland.
Today I reconciled my Quickbooks stuff for 2009, and on Monday I will meet with my bookkeeper one more time to prepare my federal tax documentation for my accountant. I am relieved to get the tedious tax stuff out of the way. I can’t imagine what it will be like next year when I actually make some revenue. I’m so happy I found a good bookkeeper and accountant to make my life easier!
I also hunted down some of the hard-to-find purse organizer components that I needed to order. Provided that all of the materials that are supposedly in stock get shipped next week, I might be able to start the purse organizer production in 2 weeks. I gave the sewing contractor a heads up that he’ll be receiving packages of materials soon, and it looks like he’s eager to get started on the manufacturing. It looks like we’re finally going to make some purse organizers!
I hope I can get these products in-market by the end of January. What will my first promotion be? Groundhog’s day? Valentine’s Day? Black history month? Chinese New Year? The possibilities are endless!
